We are launching a new product, a set of equipment for “treasure hunting”.
This is a game based on a step-by-step search for clues and, in the end, finding the main “treasure” or something else.
It's also called an urban quest or indoor/outdoor hunt game. The solution is very versatile, as there are many use cases:
escape room,
in an urban environment,
in a park,
inside any building: for example, an office space or a public space
can be used for various events.: birthdays, parties, corporate trainings.
All you need is space!

What is our set of equipment?
The basic set of equipment consists of:
a tablet with a screen in the hands of the player. Size 14 by 12cm. 1 pc.
“tags/marks" are hidden in different places of the city/park/building (round plastic cylinders with a diameter of 5cm). 4 pcs
Game mechanics
When players approach marker No. 1 with a tablet, they receive text clue No. 1 on the screen, respectively, they receive clue No. 2 at marker No. 2, and so on.
Players use clues/hints at their discretion, depending on the scenario of the game.
The use of equipment in the escape room
If the action takes place inside the ER, then hints help players move further along the scenario or move faster along the scenario.
City quest / treasure hunt in the city / field quest / indoor and outdoor hunt game
If we are not talking about escape room, but about an urban hunt game (searching for “treasures” in the city), then the tags should be located in various places of the city / park, at shops, at storefronts, and so on. Your players find the clues and reach the finish line.
It can be a single command, or there can be several commands. Each has its own route, but the finish line is common. Or all the teams follow the same route, but receive different prompts from the same tags.
There is a lot of variability in the use of this equipment. You get a tool that you can customize to suit your needs, and it only takes you 10-20 minutes to set up.
Technical information
The tablet is powered by a battery, and the tablet has built-in USB charging with a Type-C connector. Estimated operating time is 60-80 hours without shutdown.
The tablet's charge level is displayed at the time of power-on
The tag is powered by a battery, the service life is 1-2-3 years. A very energy efficient device
The tablet “catches” the signal from the tag at a distance of 1-2 meters
The tablet supports multiple languages, there is no binding only to the English alphabet.
The number of labels recorded in the tablet's memory can be over 100 pieces.
Programming possibilities
There is a microSD memory card inside the tablet.
There are several text (.txt) files on this memory card.
You can use these text files to change the text of the prompts.
You can use these text files to add new labels.
You don't need any programming skills to change the hint texts and add new labels – just edit the text (.txt) file!
The same label can be stored in the memory of several tablets, and each tablet can have its own hint text for this label.
Below we draw simple picture with basic principles of the game.

All the best,
Ilya
